Thank you to everyone for helping us show the world what it means to love!

The Love Songs V/A compilation, Love Is a Many Razor-Bladed Thing has officially been released.

Three months ago, this project began as a simple idea: gather artists from across different scenes, styles, and backgrounds and ask them all the same question. What does love sound like to you?

The result is twenty-six tracks spanning indie rock, noise, folk, vaporwave, electronic, and countless places in between. Some of these songs are warm and hopeful. Others are bittersweet, nostalgic, awkward, or yearning. Together they form a snapshot of how a group of artists from all over the world each chose to express the idea of love.

Animal Hospital would like to extend a sincere thank you to every artist who contributed their time, effort, and creativity to this compilation. Projects like these only exist because people are willing to share pieces of themselves with strangers, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring this release to life.

We would also like to thank everyone who listened, shared the compilation with friends, or supported the artists involved. Independent music survives because of communities like this one.

For now, the compilation is available digitally through the Animal Hospital Bandcamp. However, we are considering bringing the release to streaming services. We are also considering doing a limited CD release. If either of these comes to pass, we will of course let you know!

Until then, we hope you enjoy the compilation as much as we enjoyed making it. Whether you are celebrating love, grieving it, searching for it, remembering it, or simply curious about the many forms it can take, we hope there is something here that speaks to you.

Thank you again to those who participated, to those who didn't, to those who'll listen, and to those who won't. We love you all!!
