Animal Hospital
animal hospital

We are a flock. We are a collective.
We are a congregation of people who make things that don't fit anywhere else. We are animals finally expressing ourselves outside of the limits of our bodies. We are blown-out breakbeats and harsh noise walls and overdriven guitars. We don't specialize in genre. We specialize in being loud.
We accept those who accept us. We press our own material, even if no one but us will buy it or take it, because the value is in the art of creation, and that value should be saved and archived and cherished. We are Animal Hospital.

And from us to you: if you've got something, we want to hear it.

View our efforts at the catalog. If you want to send in sounds or order something physical, contact us. We also have a Discord.

You can also send us art or essays to host on the site, or send in completed prompts. Prompts are strewn around the site in red boxes.

Mouse de Topi

Medical Director

I'm the founder of Animal Hospital. I'm one half of Nice Nature and release solo music as Snow on Mt. Silver among many other names. I would love to collaborate with any of you. Please don't hesitate to contact me for anything at all.

Chevy

Chevy

Chief Morale Officer

Matthew Chevilaqua, or Chevy for short, is Mouse's cat and co-founder of the Hospital. Though he contributes no labor, he is the emotional backbone of Animal Hospital and oversees productivity while sleeping on Mouse's unattended guitars.

Nilah

Nilah Nazarene

Equipment Technician

Making music, especially noise music, has been my outlet of choice ever since I was 8. I love the way that dense sounds have the ability to subsume the entire atmosphere into themselves, drowning you in an ocean of texture and feeling. I'm the other half of Nice Nature and I also do a lot of solo stuff.

Sunny

Sunny Sato

Veterinary Technologist

I love to express myself and I find that working on creative projects is one of the best ways to do so. Everyone should be confident in their ability to create art, or at the very least be willing to put up with what it takes to become better at it. Everybody can make something great.
